Latrinology Tech conference shows innovation, affordability for sanitation solution

Earlier this week, University of Queensland Engineering team Latrinology Tech unveiled their plan for a stilted toilet system. The system, designed in conjunction with Engineers without Borders, will help stop contamination of the Tonle Sap lake, situated in Cambodia. The design is both innovative and considerably cheaper than designs from competitors, making it easier to implement and more accessible to the whole community. The design will be constructed using local materials and local labour.
